A foam generator is an assembly through which high-expansion foam solution is aerated to form foam that is discharged into a protected space. They are commonly used in fixed foam fire-extinguishing systems>.

Simple, inexpensive and optimized foam generator

A foam generator consists of a set of spray nozzles enclosed within a casing that are arranged in an array. The aeration of the foam solution is accomplished by an electric, hydraulic or pneumatically driven fan.

Density and drainage of different foams at selected time intervals is influenced by the air pressure value, nature and concentration of the foaming agent. The influence of these parameters on the compressive strength of lightweight and ultra-lightweight foamed concrete is studied.

Various types of foam are produced with the aid of the simple, cheap and optimized foam generator. These include aeration foam (AAF), hydrocarbon-air foam, polymer-air foam and chemical foam.

Compressed air foam generators combine detergent concentrate with water and compressed air to produce a foam that can be sprayed from the nozzle on any surface. These foams are ideal for extinguishing fires on horizontal and vertical surfaces without the use of pumps, pressure tanks or electrical wiring.

The generating system of the compressor can be sized for any production rate. foam generators are available in sizes ranging from 30 to 200 gallon capacity to suit the application and size of project.
