Foamed concrete is a type of cement-based mortar that has a foaming agent incorporated into the mix, giving it a lightweight quality. This is often used for filling voids and backfilling masonry walls and foundations where a traditional poured concrete wall would be impractical to use.

There are two main types of foamed concrete: aircrete and foamcrete. Both are a kind of lightweight concrete but have different properties and benefits, so it is important to understand how they differ and what applications they are most suitable for.

Aircrete is made by mixing pulverized fuel ash with aluminum powder and water, a chemical reaction which forms multiple air bubbles that then dissolve into the concrete slurry. This produces a lightweight block that is easy to transport and is highly durable.

It also contains a high percentage of aluminum and is very fire resistant. It can be molded into various shapes like round door frames, window frames, and indoor seating.

The foaming agent is then mixed with water and injected into the concrete mix from a generator. This combines with the water to form a large number of tiny air bubbles which can then be hardened into a solid concrete surface or moulded into a variety of products.

It is a very reliable, low-cost, and practical machine for creating foamed concrete. It can be used for a wide range of applications from small-scale to large-scale rapid construction, and it has many advantages, including:
